CDOT has issued a full closure of 300-499 W. Lake Street for the weekend for Lake Street Bridge repairs.
Dates: Friday, February 7,2020 - Sunday, February 9, 2020.
Detour Eastbound: Lake Street to Southbound Clinton Street, to Eastbound Washington Street, to Northbound Wacker Drive, and back to Eastbound Lake Street.
Detour Westbound: Lake Street to Southbound Wacker Drive, to Westbound Randolph Street, to Northbound Canal
Removal of temporary parking restriction signs are removed at the completion of work.
Signage must be visible to identify contact information of the company or person performing the work and copy of permit.
Pedestrian walkway must be kept free of all obstructions and debris.
No work in or use of the public right of way is to be done when a special event is taking place. It is up to the applicant to determine if an event is scheduled.
Maintain fire hydrant and manhole access.
Full weekend closure of the Lake Street Bridge over the Chicago River.
Full weekend closure of the Lake Street Bridge to start no earlier than 2300hrs on Friday 2/7 and end no later than 1500hrs on Sunday, 2/9.
Maintain local access. Post ADA-accessible pedestrian detour (Randolph via Wacker and Canal)
Maintain all crosswalks at Wacker/Lake and Canal/Lake intersections. Coordinate CTA bus reroutes and stop relocation, and CTA Green Line impacts with CTA prior to start of work.
Post additional wayfinding signage as necessary.
