SSA Community Meetings: 2024

The Magnificent Mile® Association invites to a public meeting about the proposed one-year extension of Special Service Area (SSA) #76 on North Michigan Avenue. Learn what the SSA is doing to promote safety and security, market the district, bring public art to the Avenue and more!

There are two options to attend a public meeting, in-person or virtual.

As part of the one-year renewal process for Special Service Area #76, we welcome your participation in a brief survey regarding your experience on North Michigan Avenue, from Oak Street to the Chicago River. Special Service Areas are local economic development tools that provide enhanced services and programs in addition to those currently provided through the City. Properties located in an SSA pay an additional property tax levy for use only within the local district. Click here to take the survey.

Notice of Public Meeting:

On Thursday, November 9th there will be a public meeting to provide information about an increase in the levy for SSA 76 Michigan Avenue.
