Use of the Public Way Guide

Use of the Public Way Guide

Over the past several years, one of the primary issues raised by our members is the maintaining of the quality of life on North Michigan Avenue and in the Magnificent Mile District. In addition, we receive countless inquiries from members and area visitors throughout the year asking what can be done to control some of the uses on the public way, when to call 911 versus 311 and what are the specific ordinances which regulate uses on the public way. In response, we have prepared a concise two-page digital flyer:

A Use of the Public Way Guide for The Magnificent Mile District

Prepared by the Association’s Planning & Advocacy Division, this guide will be available in upcoming Association newsletters and will remain on the Association’s website for easy access. Periodic updates will be made as needed.  Please feel free to share the link to the guide with other employees at your property or business as well as with your building tenants. If there are other issues occurring on the public way that are of concern to you or additional information you would like to see included on the flyer, please let us know.
