The Chicago Zoological Society will be heading to Springfield on Thursday, March 21, to testify before the Illinois House of Representatives’ Appropriations-Capital Committee along with the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the Chicago Botanic Garden regarding our capital infrastructure needs. We plan to illustrate how a state capital bill that funds our collective public-private-partnership will help expand conservation, science, leadership and accessibility programs that directly benefit communities across the region.

We are excited to have this opportunity to highlight our value to residents across the state. However, elected officials are most interested in hearing from their own constituents—you! We have created an easy way to contact your elected officials with a customizable letter describing Brookfield Zoo’s community impact and infrastructure needs.

Please take a minute before March 21 to visit www.B-NICE.net and encourage your elected officials to support Brookfield Zoo!
