Chicago’s Shore Club opens for the season on Saturday, May 18, unveiling an expanded, renovated patio and new additions to its globally inspired food and tropical-focused drink menus. Owned and conceptualized by Robbie Schloss, Nicholas Thayer and Lisa Jaroscak, Shore Club offers an elevated dining experience, lively patio setting and exclusive beach cabana lounge – giving residents and visitors a dynamic lakeside destination that runs rare in Chicago.

“Our reopening kicks-off the highly anticipated summer season that Chicagoans have been dreaming of for months,” says Castle Hospitality Group managing partner Lisa Jaroscak. “We’re thrilled to offer a vibrant beachfront experience with warm hospitality, incredible seasonal food and drinks, and of course unparalleled views of Lake Michigan.”

Nestled between the Lincoln Park and Gold Coast neighborhoods along the Lakefront on North Avenue Beach, Shore Club is inspired by beach resorts from around the world, evoking a tropical setting complemented by upscale dining. The Instagrammable yet inviting destination is made up of three distinct spaces: The Restaurant, The Patio and The Oasis.

  • The Restaurant – The chic spot provides guests with a cool, covered atmosphere to escape the bustling vibes of the city. With an open-air format at the North and South ends, the family-friendly space provides guests with the feeling of being outside while offering protection from the rain and intense heat.
  • The Patio – The remodeled patio boasts expanded seating for diners, a full-service bar and additional lawn games. A fun and casual setting, the dog-friendly patio serves the full restaurant menu and is easily accessible to beach patrons looking to unwind with a quick bite and a cocktail after a long day at the beach.
  • The Oasis – The Oasis brings luxurious sunbed, daybed and cabana offerings to an exclusive lounge area at Shore Club – an idyllic getaway for urbanites or visitors looking to soak up the Chicago sun. Reservations required, guests can imbibe on large format cocktails and indulge in an array of dish options through unmatched tableside service and a lively scene.

Each space at Shore Club is available to be reserved for semi-private events and full buyouts throughout the season.

Shore Club’s menu, curated by Executive Chef Elizabeth Tokarczyk of Inspired, presents globally inspired fare with creative seafood dishes and refreshing bites made easy for sharing. Open daily for lunch and dinner, Shore Club features beach-inspired appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts to suit every taste preference. The beach resort vibes carry through to the beverage program, as Shore Club focuses on modernizing tropical-inspired drinks fit for Chicago’s advanced cocktail scene while embodying summer tastes.
