Although winter cold and snow snuck up on us all early this season, properties along The Magnificent Mile were quick to swap out the frozen cabbages and mums with unique and festive winter and holiday decorations which will adorn the Avenue up until the first tulips begin to poke through next Spring.
The Winter/Holiday 2019/2020 Magnificent Mile® Beautification Walk was held on December 11th by the Planning and Advocacy Division’s Public Way Committee. Once again, members of the Committee graded each property on North Michigan Avenue between the Chicago River and Oak Street and acknowledged those properties that provided the most festive and visually exciting parkway gardens for the long winter season.
